Mechanical Engineer - Fitter/ Fabricator

Employment Type - Full-time

 

Up to £32,000 a year (may vary depending on experience) + overtime

This is a full time permanent position working weekdays - flexibility required with availability. Usual hours are 6.00am to 4.00pm, however, you may be required to work earlier or later and on weekends (paid overtime).

 

Although you will be working in Tredegar mainly, there will be a need to travel to the customer's premises. Therefore a full UK Drivers License is required to drive company vehicles.

 

 

Responsibilities

​

Ability if required to operator machinery such as a guillotine, etc.

Willingness to work at a height with scaffolding, ladders or powered machines

 

Also a willingness to part-take in training:

• Water Jet CNC training, a new machine within the company.

• Confined Space Training

 

 

Qualifications

​

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Fitting.

Experience in basic Welding work.

Experience with and knowledge of conveyor systems would be useful.
