We were asked to help the Epwin Group with an automated turnkey single flow conveyor system to consolidate their window production line, to help remove manual handling and improve production efficiency.
This fully automated delivery system would include an automatic adjustable door tilt unit to assist the glazing of double and patio doors.
This system also incorporated a window work in progress conveyor, which could hold 80 window frames ranging from 400 square to 2500 square.
A full interlocked guarding and safety systems were installed to enclose the whole line.
The system also included a RFID tracking system which can track the windows through the factory, from start to finish.
